Best landing page builder for lead generation: the picks
For lead generation, Instapage Create lists forms, triggered popups and sticky bars, contacts and email, with HubSpot and Salesforce on every plan. It is $99 a month, billed monthly, or $79 a month, billed annually, as read on October 18, 2026. Instapage Optimize adds multi-step forms, and systeme.io Startup is the lower-cost pick for a contact list.
A multi-step form splits a long form into steps, and Instapage's form builder article says later steps have a way back to the previous one. Instapage Optimize is sized in unique monthly visitors, the different people who can visit all your published pages in a month.
| Builder and plan | Price | Lead features listed |
|---|---|---|
| Instapage Create | $99 a month, billed monthly; $79 a month, billed annually | Forms, popups, sticky bars, contacts, email, HubSpot, Salesforce |
| Instapage Optimize, 30,000 unique monthly visitors | $199 a month, billed monthly; $159 a month, billed annually | Adds multi-step forms and A/B testing |
| Unbounce Build | $99 a month, billed monthly; $74 a month, billed annually | Popups, sticky bars and multi-step forms; up to 20k visitors |
| Landingi Optimize | $119 a month, billed annually; monthly price on Landingi's page | EventTracker: click, scroll and form tracking |

Start a 14-day Instapage trial →Forms, popups and multi-step forms
Instapage Create lists reusable page blocks and forms, plus triggered popups and sticky bars; its plans page places multi-step forms on Instapage Optimize. Unbounce lists popups, sticky bars and multi-step forms from its Build plan, so Unbounce Build is the cheaper way to multi-step forms in this table on a monthly bill.
Test a form on a published page, because Instapage's help center says a form cannot be tested in preview mode. Meta's checklist for ad destinations names pop-up ads as disruptive content, so read it before sending Facebook ads to a page with a popup.
Where the leads go: contacts, email and the CRM
Instapage's plans page lists unlimited contacts on every plan, 150 lists and 1,500 daily email sends on Create, and lists HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo and Zapier on all three plans. Convert, the custom plan, adds direct lead bypass: leads go straight to a connected CRM without being stored on Instapage's servers, on request.
systeme.io Startup holds 5,000 contacts and 10 automation rules, against 2,000 contacts and 1 rule on its free plan.
Tracking a lead back to the ad
Instapage documents the Google Ads conversion tag on a thank-you page, a button click or a form submission. On Facebook ads, the Meta pixel ID is pasted into a field on each page.
Google Ads reports cost per conversion, total cost divided by conversions, which is cost per lead when the conversion is a lead. Instapage's help center says its own cost reporting has been removed for now.
Testing what turns more visitors into leads
Cost per lead is cost per click divided by the conversion rate, so at the same cost per click a rise from 2 percent to 3 percent cuts cost per lead by a third. The sum is arithmetic, not a forecast.
Billed monthly, A/B testing starts on Swipe Pages Marketer at $89, Leadpages Grow at $99, Unbounce Experiment at $149 and Instapage Optimize at $199; Landingi Optimize is $119 a month billed annually, and systeme.io's free plan allows 1 A/B test.
Pick Instapage Create for forms, popups, email and a CRM link in one plan, and Instapage Optimize when the form needs steps or the page needs tests. Pick systeme.io Startup for 5,000 contacts at $17 a month, billed monthly, and Unbounce Build for popups and sticky bars at $99 a month, billed monthly.
Forms and popups are on Instapage Create, so the 14-day Instapage trial, which needs a card at sign-up and bills it when the trial ends unless you cancel, is enough to build a lead page before paying.
