Instapage free trial: 14 days, a card up front and no free plan

Last reviewed October 18, 2026

Quick answerInstapage gives 14 days on Create or Optimize but takes a card and bills it when the trial ends unless you cancel, and it has no free plan. Unbounce and Swipe Pages say their 14-day trials need no card.

Instapage free trial: what you get for 14 days

Instapage's free trial lasts 14 days on Create or Optimize, and a credit card is required to start it. The trial gives full access to the features in the plan you pick. There is no free plan. Instapage says the card requirement keeps scammers from using the product for phishing.

Instapage's home page calls the 14-day trial free with no obligations, but its plans FAQ says a credit card is required to start and is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel; these guides follow the FAQ.

What the Instapage trial turns into after day 14

When the trial ends, Instapage charges the card and starts the plan you chose; a reminder email comes first. Any plan can be bought, whichever plan the trial used. Instapage pricing lists them all.

Create costs $99 a month billed monthly, or $79 a month billed annually. For Instapage Optimize with 30,000 unique monthly visitors, the monthly side is $199 and the annual side $159 a month, as read on October 18, 2026. Unique monthly visitors are the different people who visit your published pages in a month; Instapage counts a person again after 3 days.

When the trial ends early: an upgrade or 2,500 unique monthly visitors

Two things end the trial early. Upgrading to a paid plan ends it, and so does reaching the trial traffic limit of 2,500 unique monthly visitors, after which Instapage moves the account to a paid subscription. The trial limit is separate from the visitor limits of the paid plans.

A med spa that wants to test two headlines on the page its Meta ads open would pick Optimize at sign-up, because A/B testing starts on Optimize and Create has none. Instapage's help center says experiments can be created only for pages already published to a live URL.

Instapage's pages do not agree on whether a trial account can publish live pages, so confirm that in the trial before sending ad traffic. After the trial ends you can keep building pages, but the help center says an active subscription is needed to publish pages or have live URLs.

How to cancel the Instapage trial before the charge

Cancel before day 14 ends: after that the card is charged, and Instapage's terms say fees are non-refundable. To cancel the trial in your account:

  1. Open the Account Management tab.
  2. Select Subscriptions.
  3. Click Cancel.

Instapage says the card is not charged when you cancel during the trial. Once a paid plan has started, the help center says cancellation is processed only after the account owner emails a request. Convert, Instapage's custom plan, has no trial: Instapage offers a live demo instead.

Trials of other builders and their card rules

Unbounce and Swipe Pages say their 14-day trials need no credit card, Landingi says it sometimes asks for one, and Leadpages collects one at checkout.
