Is Instapage legit: who runs it and who owns it

Yes: Instapage is run by Instapage, Inc. (Delaware, USA), one of the provider companies of airSlate, and it publishes its terms, plans, security claims and a status page.

Instapage's contracting-entity table, last updated October 1, 2026, lists Instapage, Inc. with a registered address in Brookline, Massachusetts. Instapage's own announcement says airSlate acquired it and that it continues as a business unit under airSlate; its press-release copy dates the announcement October 11, 2023. Its About page names offices in Boston, Timisoara and Białystok.

What Instapage says about security

Instapage's security page says it has undergone two types of SOC 2 audits, Type I and Type II, and it names GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. These are Instapage's own claims. The page also says its policies align with ISO 27001/2 and NIST 800-53 frameworks, which is alignment with a framework, not a certification.

It adds that it runs internal and external penetration tests once a year. A bug bounty program is linked in the Instapage footer, and the help center links a public status page.

The fine print to read before you pay

Instapage asks for a card to start its 14-day trial and says the card check keeps scammers from using the product for phishing. The card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel; the Instapage free trial page has the steps.

Paid plans renew automatically for periods equal to the first one. Instapage's terms say all fees are non-refundable, even if you have used the service only briefly, and that unused prepaid time expires at the end of the period. Taxes are extra. To dispute a charge, the terms ask you to contact support within 30 days of the payment or invoice before going to your bank.

Reviews and claims on Instapage's own pages

Instapage's pages give different customer and review counts (over 15,000 brands on one page, 1000+ customers on another), so none is repeated and no review-site score is quoted.

Instapage's search-ads page says its customers have an average conversion rate of 16%, and it gives no method for the figure. That is Instapage's claim, not a result to expect.

Pick Instapage if its published terms suit you: a card at trial start, automatic renewal and non-refundable fees. Plan details are in the Instapage review, and what is Instapage explains what the product does.
