Where A/B testing and text replacement start

Leadpages Grow includes manual A/B testing and dynamic text replacement, with six variants a page on Grow and Leadpages Optimize. Leadpages lists Pro and Business as publishing plans with no A/B testing. Smart Traffic, which Leadpages words as sending visitors to the variant most likely to convert, heatmaps and multivariate testing start on Leadpages Optimize.

Instapage places server-side A/B testing and dynamic text replacement on Optimize, not Create; Instapage pricing lists every plan. AI experiments, which send more traffic to the better version automatically, are listed on the custom Convert plan only.

Traffic caps and what happens over them

Leadpages' pricing page lists traffic as unlimited, with no overage fees. Instapage sets a limit in unique monthly visitors, the different people who visit your published pages in a month: 15,000 on Create, and 30,000 or 50,000 on Optimize. A visitor counts again after 3 days.

If paid traffic passes the limit, Instapage's help center says the account is locked, and pages may be unpublished if it happens in several billing cycles. Its pages state no price for visitors beyond the limit on Create or Optimize.

Seats, domains and trials

Leadpages includes 1 team seat on Pro, Business and Grow and 3 on Leadpages Optimize, with 1, 2, 4 and 6 custom domains across those four plans. Instapage includes 10 team members on every self-serve option, and 2 subdomains on Create and on Optimize with 30,000 unique monthly visitors (10 on the 50,000 option).

Leadpages offers a 7-day trial, and its pricing page says it collects a card at checkout and does not charge it until day 7. Instapage offers 14 days on Create or Optimize, requires a card, and charges it when the trial ends unless you cancel.
