Free landing page for Google Ads: the free routes

Yes, a free landing page for Google Ads is possible. systeme.io's free plan costs $0 and includes one custom domain, so the page can sit on the same domain as the ad's display URL; systeme.io says the plan needs no card. Webflow's Starter plan is free but publishes to a Webflow.io address, and WordPress is free software that needs a host and a domain.

Paid builders offer trials instead. Instapage Create costs $99 a month, billed monthly, after its 14-day trial, as read on October 18, 2026. The same routes serve a free landing page for Facebook ads.

What a Google Ads page needs, free or paid

Google's destination requirements apply to a free page as to a paid one. The page must not return an HTTP error to Google's AdsBot crawler, and the final URL may not redirect to a different domain. Google Ads counts a web lead through a conversion tag on the site, and Instapage's help center says to place that tag on a thank-you page rather than the landing page.

For Facebook ads, Meta's checklist asks that the linked website works and is clearly accessible and relevant to the ad. On Instapage, the Meta pixel ID is pasted into a field on each page. See how to create a landing page for Facebook ads for the steps.

Free plans: systeme.io Free and Webflow Starter

systeme.io's free plan includes a custom domain, which lets the page match the ad's display URL; its limits are 3 funnels, 1 automation rule and 2,000 contacts, and the plan never expires. Webflow Starter has 2 static pages, 1 GB of bandwidth and 50 form submissions.

Neither free plan lists dynamic text replacement, which changes page text to match a keyword or ad in the page's web address. systeme.io's free plan allows 1 A/B test, and Webflow keeps A/B testing in a paid add-on.

Free software: WordPress on your own host

WordPress.org is free, open-source software. Hosting, a domain and plugins cost extra and are not priced here. A plain page on a site you already run can meet Google's destination requirements without a new tool; do you need a landing page for Google Ads covers that case. WordPress.com has a free plan, and Personal is $9 a month, billed monthly, or $48 for 12 months.

Free trials of paid builders, and when paying makes sense

  • Unbounce says 14 days with no credit card required; the trial has a single user and no custom domains.
  • Swipe Pages says 14 days with full features and no credit card required.

Instapage itself has no free plan; its 14-day trial asks for a credit card and bills it when the trial ends (day 14, or sooner at 2,500 unique monthly visitors or on an upgrade) unless you cancel. Its help center does not recommend running ads to its shared test address, pagedemo.co, and says Google Ads requires the destination URL to match the display URL. The Instapage free trial guide covers canceling before the charge.

Pick systeme.io for a free page on your own domain, Webflow for a free site on a Webflow.io address, and Unbounce for a trial it says needs no card. Pick Instapage Create when a free plan's limits stop the work: it lists unlimited published pages, 2 subdomains and 10 team members. A paid plan earns its fee when the extra leads are worth more; cheapest landing page builder lists the entry plans.
